Brandon Steiner, CEO of memorabilia dealer Steiner Sports, is defending Eli Manning, calling him "a guy I've trusted throughout (the) years, 100 percent".

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning talks to reporters during an availability ahead of the NFL Football draft, Thursday, April 20, 2017, in East Rutherford, N.J.

"I will say that I've never done what I been accused of doing", Manning said, "I have no reason nor have I ever had a reason to do anything of that nature. I've done nothing wrong and I'm still being attacked".

In another email, Skiba allegedly admitted to one of the plaintiffs that Manning asked him to create "BS" versions of memorabilia because he did not want to part with the real items.

Attorneys representing the Giants said last week that the email included in the civil lawsuit misrepresented the situation.

Multiple emails then proved that "Manning was looking to give non-game-used helmets to Steiner to satisfy (fraudulently) his contractual obligation" with Steiner, according to the NY Post. "I know when this is all done everybody will see this the same way". "Eli Manning is well-known for his integrity, and this is just the latest misguided attempt to defame his character". "I've tried to handle everything with class and be a stand up citizen, and that's what I have done and that's being attacked right now".

Manning said he is "definitely" angry at the way he has been portrayed.

"Before we get started, I would like to address what has been going on in the news the past couple of days".

Sports memorabilia collector Eric Inselberg of Short Hills sued Manning, Giants co-owner John Mara and others in 2014, alleging they engaged in a scam to sell fake "game-worn" equipment for profit. I've been dealing with it for a long time.
