Bixby boasts of "deep-learning" AI technology, allowing it to better communicate with users as it accumulates data. The Korean giant recently announced that starting this week, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus owners in the U.S. can sign up to test the preview version of its Bixby voice assistant.

Why is Samsung limiting its Bixby early access program to only a few people, instead of releasing it for everyone a few weeks after its previous late spring deadline? The screenshot which you see above shows off the same as well. Also, Samsung's new Bixby assistant will be on board and similar to the S8, a dedicated button will be there to launch it.

Bixby is created to understand speech, text, and images.

There is no word on exactly when the final version of the Bixby Voice will be ready.

- Almost two months after the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus' launch, users might finally be getting access to one of the phones' main selling points: a new virtual assistant called Bixby. Be sure to let us know by dropping a comment down below. Unfortunately, they deleted the function on a firmware update.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has been leaking extensively as of late and the latest tidbits of information further boost excitement before the device's unveiling later this year.

Bixby can remind the user about pending tasks, recognize QR codes, translate items, identify landmarks, and propose shopping suggestions.

Vivo isn't as well-known a brand as Samsung or Apple, but it is selling a lot of smartphones; it is now the fifth-largest manufacturer in terms of global smartphone shipments, according to IDC. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how Bixby Voice compares against the likes of Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

Users are keenly waiting for this awe-inspiring big screen smartphone, but the fact is whether Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be able to defeat the new upcoming Apple's iPhone 8 or not.

Dual-cameras will be the order of the day in the Samsung product range in 2017, with the Galaxy Note 8 benefiting from a 13-megapixel unit.
