Undeclared milk in bread crumbs spurs chicken recall

Also recalled are 4,335 pounds of ready-to-eat breaded chicken products from Water Lilies Food Inc. of Astoria, N.Y., which was also informed by the ingredient supplier on June 6 that the breading used contains milk.
A massive recall has been issued nationwide for multiple chicken, spaghetti, and meatball products made by three major brands.
- Tyson Food Inc., of New Holland, Pennsylvania is recalling nearly 2.5 million pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) breaded chicken products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.
All packaging bears the establishment number "P-276" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The RTE Chicken Salad with White Meat Chicken was produced on various dates from May 17 through May 26, 2017.
20-lb bulk cases of "SPARE TIME, Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Patties" with case code 005778-0861 and production date of 10/03/2016. These items were shipped to wholesale locations Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
There haven't been any confirmed reports of adverse reactions as a result of consumers eating any of the recalled beef or pork products.
30-lb. bulk boxes of "FULLY COOKED BEEF BURGERS", with case code 83353-52981 and lot numbers 03/31/17 and 05/08/17. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a doctor. However, consumers are urged to not consume the product.
The breaded chicken products affected by the recall were produced and packaged between the dates of February 3 and June 2, 2017 and have the establishment numbers P-18799 or P-32107 on their labels.
According to Tyson, the recall is limited to food service customers, and the products are not available for purchase in retail stores.
