Developed by Dontnod (the studio behind Remember Me and Life is Strange), Vampyr is set in early 20th century Britain as the country is gripped by the lethal Spanish flu and the streets of London are crippled by disease, violence and fear.

Dontnod Entertainment and Focus Home Interactive have released on the occasion of E3 2017 a new brutal trailer for Vampyr, one of the hottest titles at the conference of Los Angeles. Still, at least we have confirmation of a release window and the game hasn't suddenly shifted to being an exclusive of any sort. We are also treated to a glimpse of The Ascalon Club, a secret society for the wealthy vampires. There's no new gameplay footage, but we do get to be treated to a stylish uncut, cinematic sequence. Reid has been turned into a vampire against his will, and now he has to balance two opposing desires: His oath to protect and heal the sick, and the need to hunt and feed on those he is supposed to save. This action-RPG follows Dr. Jonathan Reid, a man who used to be an ordinary surgeon. In a disorganized and ghostly city, those foolish, desperate, or unlucky enough to walk the streets lay prey to Britain's most elusive predators: the vampires. Use your unholy powers to manipulate and delve into the lives of those around you - but be prepared to live with the consequences of your actions. Vampyr's newest trailer runs at just about three and a half minutes, and while it certainly looks like an attractive experience, it doesn't lend much insight into the gameplay that players can look forward to.

Depending on whom you kill and whom you charm, your actions can doom or save London.
