Airtel's Rs 799 plan, the subscriber gets unlimited local and STD calls without any monthly capping, including the national roaming. Airtel's Rs 448 plan offers 70GB 3G/4G data: 1GB 3G/4G data per day for a period of 70 days.
The latest revision came after Airtel offered 100% cashback on recharging with the Rs 349 plan to its customers. In addition, Airtel has introduced an all-new high data plan of Rs 3,999 as well. The offer is available only to select customers, which means one has to check Airtel website (recharge section) or the MyAirtel mobile application for eligibility.
In the past couple of weeks, Airtel has launched quite a few new affordable plans for its prepaid users with voice calling and data benefits. Daily Voice Calls can not exceed 300 minutes as part of this plan. Moreover, Jio'S Rs 399 plan has a validity of 70 days while Idea's Rs 357 plan comes with a validity of 28 days.
In essence, subscribers who make the recharge from web or via Idea's in-house app will be eligible for unlimited voice (local and STD) calling and 2GB with a validity of 28 days should they opt for the Rs 179 plan. Customers can also avail 50 percent discount on the data plan by paying via Airtel Payments Bank. The new plan is priced at Rs 448, and aims to compete against Reliance Jio's new Rs 399 plan. But, there is a limit for Airtel local and STD voice calls.
1GB quota exceeds speed will reduce to 64 kbps. The plan offers 60 GB internet data for entire duration. It also comes with unlimited free calls within the same network (both local and STD) and 3,000 minutes of free calls to non-Idea numbers with a cap of 300 minutes per day and 1,200 minutes a week (30 paise per minute to be charged after crossing the limit).
Even Idea Cellular tweaked its Rs 357 plan to include the same. It also offers 1GB 3G/4G data per day and you also get free 100 SMSes with the pack.
