Apple to launch three iPhone X-inspired models in 2018, report claims

iPhone X review: Apple takes smart phone to whole new level Some iPhone X users now reporting green line on screen, crackling or buzzing earpiece speaker

You've probably heard that as of this past weekend, the iPhone X is now in the hands of a few consumers, with several more en route between now and the holidays. While Apple doesn't disclose iPhone sales on a per-model basis, CEO Tim Cook noted recently that the company was surprised by how fast iPhone 8 Plus sales took off after the new model was released, citing it as "the fastest start of any Plus model".

The high-end iPhones will include one phone with the same screen size and technology (OLED) as the iPhone X, and a super-sized iPhone X model with a 6.5-inch screen.

That much hasn't changed, but as MacRumors relates, Kuo's research into the Apple supply line has now led him to predict that we'll also see a third 6.1-inch phone with a TFT-LCD display next year. Apple has found that there is a software bug that's causing the issue and is working on a fix via a software update which will be arriving soon, most probably in iOS 11.2, which is now in beta testing stage. The iPhone X Plus launch date is set to be late in 2018.

There have also been complaints coming in from some iPhone X users living in the colder regions of the world.

Following last week's report where some users were facing unresponsive touch in cold weather, a new report by MacRumors, claims that some users are facing a crackling or buzzing sound emanating from the device's front-facing earpiece speaker at maximum volume.

Hopefully this iPhone X software update should help fix it for those users who need to use their phone in the cold. However, in both cases, the iPhone X users reported that simply locking and unlocking the phone solves the issue.

"Battery life will return to normal when you bring the device back to higher ambient temperatures".

Apple claimed that the chances of the Face ID failing are one in a million, but recent reports and tests show otherwise.
