There are several reports that say the Milwaukee Bucks are in the process of finalizing a deal that would send Greg Monroe and a future #1 draft pick to Phoenix in exchange for disgruntled guard Eric Bledsoe.

Bledsoe is not expected to suit up for the Bucks on Tuesday night against Cleveland, as the plan is for him to meet with the team on Wednesday in San Antonito, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin. Monroe has been out with an injury for the last week. The 27-year-old averaged a career-high 21.1 points per game last season and could help take the some of the scoring load off MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Bledsoe would join a Bucks backcourt with 2016 Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon, Matthew Dellavedova and Jason Terry. Bledsoe spent the past five seasons in Phoenix after his first three years with the Clippers.

Bledsoe averaged 15.7 points and 3.0 assists in only three games this season before the Suns sent him home following his infamous tweet.

Monroe has been restricted to just five games this season and hasn't played since October 26 because of a left calf strain. Monroe was attractive in large part because he is an expiring contract.

Milwaukee's first-round pick will belong to the Suns in 2018 if in the range of 11-16 overall; in 2019 if in the range of 4-16; in 2020 if in the range of 8-30; and in 2021 it will be unprotected.
