Special counsel Robert Mueller has collected sufficient evidence to charge Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump's former national security adviser, and his son in the investigation into alleged collusion between Trump aides and Russia, NBC News reported on Sunday.

However, according to NBC, Mueller's investigation is scrutinizing Flynn's lobbying work, investigating whether or not he laundered money and probing whether or not he lied to federal investigators about overseas contacts.

Multiple sources relayed that information to NBC News, which also reported that Mueller was ramping up his pressure on Flynn since last week's indictment.

Sources told NBC that Flynn's son, Michael G. Flynn, could be indicted separately or with his dad. Please be fully informed regarding the risks and costs associated with trading the financial markets, it is one of the riskiest investment forms possible.

Flynn's work as a lobbyist is under scrutiny.

Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election may be inside the White House soon.

The anti-Trump media appears to have quite the connection to the investigation led by Special Counsel Bob Mueller.

The younger Flynn worked with his father, including doing work on the Trump campaign.

Also part of Mueller's line of inquiry is the $530,000 Flynn received for consulting work on behalf of Turkey in the fall of 2016.

Mr Mueller's team are also said to be looking at whether the former National Security Adviser attempted to have Fethullah Gullen, an elderly Muslim cleric, extradited from the United States to Turkey in exchange for millions of dollars.

Flynn worked on the campaign and his son worked closely with him and briefly worked on the Trump campaign's transition.

If Flynn is charged, he would be the first Trump administration official formally accused of criminal wrongdoing in the ongoing Russian Federation investigation. It was also revealed last week that former foreign policy adviser for the Trump campaign, George Papadopoulos, had pleaded guilty to lying to the F.B.I.
