Media reports suggested that all three students are of Chinese origin.

The driver has a history of mental illness, the interior ministry said in a statement.

Authorities say the victims were rushed to nearby hospitals, but none of them are suffering from life threatening injuries.

The suspect tried to flee the scene but police stopped him.

The man told police that he "deliberately" drove into the crowd and that he suffered from psychological disorders, according to the report.

He said he wanted revenge, but did not specify what for.

"The school management did not explain what was going on".
